Background
After an early career in industry Keith Woodcock became a freelance graphic designer and illustrator in 1969.  A longstanding interest in aircraft and flight ultimately persuaded Keith to go full time as a aviation artist in 1982.  Since then he has branched out into automotive subjects and is a full member of the Guild of Motoring Artists.  Keith’s original aviation paintings are executed in both oil and gouache and are to be found in corporate and private collections all over the world.

For Collectors
In recent years his work has been reproduced as both limited edition prints and open edition prints - the latter being particularly excellent value. Especially pleasing is his series of RAF bombers being worked on by groundcrew.

Our Favourite
Using composition, tonal contrast and muted colours to excellent effect, you can almost feel the bitter chill of a winters day barely warmed by a watery sun in Keith Woodcock’s superb painting Halifaxes.
