Nicolas Trudgian profile

A beautifully presented book containing the majority of Nicolas Trudgian’s aviation paintings completed at the time of publication in 1998. The first section is a chronicle of Nicolas Trudgian’s life and career as an artist, by long time friend Martin Sanders.  Part two is a description by the artist of how he undertakes a painting.  The final section contains analysis by the artist of some 31 of his most important paintings, supported by detail shots, pencil sketches and colour plates of complimentary pictures, altogether 57 different paintings are included.

Overall the book has a very high quality feel with both paintings and pencil sketches reproduced with great clarity and excellent colour.  A special signed limited edition was produced with an accompanying print set, but these are all sold out.
